Guerrero Park

Closing off a street to build a park is a new, growing trend here in the city. After driving past it several times, I got to walk through the Guerrero Park (formally known as the Guerrero and San Jose Ave. intersection) this morning on my way to St. Luke’s. I like, however these pics I took… I like not so much.

Fancy

One SF to-do off the list! My friend Tracey held her wedding shower at the Fairmont during afternoon tea this past Sunday. The service was top notch, and I sipped on Jasmine Butterfly tea and photographed while everyone snacked on the dainty grub. It felt so good to throw on a sundress on a beautiful day to hang out with a bunch of fun ladies at a San Francisco landmark. Fancy, indeed.

Paxton Gate

I love love love Paxton Gate. M and I popped by their holiday sale/party last Saturday evening on our way to our friends’ holiday party in the Mission. They don’t allow photography, but people were drinking free wine around fragile items so I figured a few camera phone shots would be harmless. I have a hard time describing the shop to those that have never been. Let’s just say it’s beautiful, odd and inspirational… and conveniently located to another favorite, the Pirate store.

The Old Apartment

I found these photos that I took of my apartment in Nob Hill where I lived with two other gals (now pals) for six months. It was only a temporary living situation from the start, but I left with a lot of memories. I miss how the warm sunlight would explode through my bedroom window in the morning. I miss listening to my 20-something roommate’s tales of adventure. I miss how my daily hikes up and down California street turned my legs into steel.

That Other Crooked Street

While not nearly as picturesque as the famous Lombard street, Vermont street is another most crookedest street in San Francisco. Located in Potrero Hill, it’s a fun drive with a lovely view of the city (minus the distraction of photo snapping tourists.)

I have no idea what these are called, but it looks as though they’re made of tissue paper. I’ve been seeing these things all over the place. Pretty, no?

Noe Valley

Along with our lack of Bridge, we’ve also been experiencing a lack of fog (hooray!) And with this lack of fog, the weather has been glorious… very sunny and warm! Yesterday (Sunday) M and I took a long walk over to our neighboring neighborhood, Noe Valley, for lunch. Naturally, the camera tagged along and our jackets, stayed at home.
