Baker Beach

This past Thursday, Friday and Saturday were hot, hot, hot in the Bay area. Now that Matty is officially on summer break, we were able enjoy the weather, together, on my day off (which is Thursday, for you lurkers not in the know). After a lovely morning of sleeping in, we took the bus (which is free free free on hot days) over to Baker Beach, located near the Golden Gate bridge in Presidio, where we picnicked on Whole Foods grub and witnessed several "nudie" folk sunbathing and, ahem, playing volleyball. Please note that I refrained from photographing that, but it was tough. It's been years since I've relaxed on a beach, and having a boyfriend with the same blinding personality body as me, made it all the more enjoyable. Too bad my SPF 45 failed on me, (ouchie) and uh, sand, how did you there?!?! (See pictures)

dan:

you should title the blog "seriously..just move here"

We're heading out there in August for a wedding (1.5hrs outside of oakland).

I'm sure leaving will yet again be very difficult

I guess I owe you a thanks for not posting nude volleyball pictures. I can imagine very few people in the world look pretty doing that.

Those pictures are beautiful! I have to agree with Dan, your blog makes me seriously jealous.

Dan: Well, you know... Oakland is only 3 miles away across the bay, so you're technically only 1.5 hours (and some change) from SF, too. Are you going to be up North, East, or South?

Noelle: That stuff gets jiggly. I only wanted to share.

Allie: Why thank you, though I should mention that my intention is not to make any one jealous (OK, maybe a wee bit) :).

Dan:

@kir - I think south...but my geography is about as solid as knowledge of neurology :)

Dan: Regardless, it'll be beautiful!
